Nis Investment Forum - NIF09, with the significant support of the City of Nis, organizes this year also a Conference, which will take place on 9 October 2009, to be implemented under the working title of "Preparing the future - Today's Challenge for Tomorrow's Profit", devoted to the investment possibilities in South Serbia (areas of the Districts of Nisava, Pirot and Toplica).

Mayor of the City of Nis, Milos Simonovic, French Ambassador to Serbia Jean Francois Terral, Bulgarian Ambassador Georgi Dimitrov and representatives of Mr Bricolage, Bruno Cantoni and Milen Hristov put a the Bulevar Mediana in Nis the cornerstone of the future hypermarket Mr.Bricolage.

Regional Business Meeting of Bulgaria and Serbia - Pirot 2009 is envisaged as a permanent activity of promotion of good business relations. This meeting is an initial gathering of business leaders in the cross-border area between Serbia and Bulgaria. 

At the Nis City Hall, the Mayor of Nis, Milos Simonovic, Serbia Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Bozidar Djelic and President of Sagem, Patrick Sevian signed a Protocol on Cooperation.

This is the result of the negotiations on the arrival of Sagem during the Nis Investment Forum held in October last year.

City of Niš and the Center for the development of civil society PROTECTA on Friday, 13 March 2009 signed an AGREEMENT on business & technical cooperation on the establishment of NIF
