Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said when signing the Protocol on cooperation that is today very important for Nis and Serbia, because, as he said, after a longer period finally started a new period of industrial development in Nis with the results of attracting foreign investors. France Sagem company is establishing a new manufacturing plant on eight thousand square meters of buildings in the Electronic Industry Nis, which in the next five years plans to invest at least six million euro. The intention of the company is from Nis to cover the market of Russia and parts of Europe. It is expected that the first production process will start in the next few months. Emphasizing the great importance of signing the Protocol on Cooperation with the French company Sagem, Mayor Milos Simonovic said that this agreement starts a new cycle of investment and revival of the electronic industry in Nis. Mayor Simonovic thanked the Government of Serbia for the unreserved support to City of Nis and stated that the arrival of Sagem in our city is the way to show to other investors that it is worthwhile investing in this region, said Simonovic and stated that the beginning of the cooperation with Sagem indicates the beginning of a new industrial process. The implementation of this investment opens the door to the forming of a Technology Park in the city, added Simonovic.
